To best serve our English language learners, MATC offers placement testing to determine each student's level of English proficiency. Placement testing is conducted throughout the semester in Room 110 at the Mequon Campus.
Testing and registration can take up to two to three hours. After testing, students may choose from courses available at their specific levels. MATC offers six ESL/ELL levels.

When can I start studying?
Fall Semester runs from late August until mid-December. Spring Semester runs from mid-January to mid-May. A six-week summer session runs from mid-June to mid-July.

Contact us before the start of the semester. During the semester, you can join our ESL Workshop and begin your journey to better English and improved job prospects!

Go to Room A110 at Mequon Campus for assistance with registration and testing. To begin the registration process, fill out this online form. When you receive your MATC username and password, contact the Mequon Testing Center to arrange for a placement test.
